• Wide angle itu apa?
• Trus semakin wide kok ukurannya makin kecil, knp gitu?

maka ane mencoba menjawabnya. Namun saya tekankan sex lagi kl ane sbnarnya kurang kompeten di bidang ni (fotografi). Tahunya cm jualan aja

Definisi Lensa Sudut Lebar Dalam Fotografi (Wide Angle lens photography definition)

Saya tidak tahu persis definisinya kayak gmn, tapi pada intinya lensa sudut lebar (wide angle lens) berfungsi untuk menangkap subyek yang luas. Semakin kecil ukuran (beragam dari mulai 17 mm, 24 mm, 28 mm, 35 mm, dst) maka semakin luas pula subyek yang dapat di tangkap oleh lensa kamera. Kegunaan wide angle lens :

• Membantu mencakup subyek yang luas di ruang yg sempit
  Mungkin pernah agan/sista yang menemuin masalah dimana dalam ruangan agan tidak dapat memfoto obyek yang berjajar (misal manusia), pdhl dah di zoom in maksimum. Jikalau hal tersebut terjadi di area / ruangan yang luas maka agan akan mundur sampai semua subyek yang hendak diabadikan dapat tercakup dalam 1 frame, bener begitu? Bagaimana kl tidak bisa mundur lagi atau tidak bergerak lebih menjauh? Nah disinilah fungsi wide angle lens. Yang semakin kecil ukurannya semakin luas subyek yang bisa ditangkap lensa.
• Memberikan kesan yang kuat untuk subyek yang berada dekat dengan kamera
  Semakin kecil wide angle lens yang digunakan tampak obyek yang di dekat kamera begitu "kuat" dan menonjol dibandingkan obyek yang dibelakangnya (nampak lebih jauh dan kecil). Jadi, kalau ingin obyeknya utama (dkt kamera) lebih menonjol pilih latar belakang yg lebih luas.

Nah dah tahu kan jawaban dari pertanyaan kedua. Untuk yang lainnya - lensa tele (telephoto lens), super wide angle lens , fish eye, dst - sebenarnya mengikuti pola di atas. Agan atau sista bisa brosing sendiri. Paling istilah macro aja yang lebih menekankan kemampuan tuk memotret jarak sangat dekat atau benda kecil. Nah, mulai sekarang agan bisa tambah informasi tuh mo beli kamera (atau lensa) yang mana berdasarkan kebutuhan agan/sista. Ada lebih baiknya agan perhatikan table di bawah (msh ada relevansinya dengan topik di atas :
